TCR was rated the #1 Dessert Cafe in New York, according to Zagat
Survey's 2008 New York City Restaurant Guide:
Zagat's Main Review
"Talk about dying and going to heaven" – this Park Slope
dessert destination presents a "chocoholic's dream" menu
of "cocoas" and "sweets", plus "wines to drink
with them"; its "boîtelike" interior is ideal
for "cozying up with a date".
ZAGAT Survey Gourmet Shopping & Entertaining Review
Now there's room for "indulging" in Park Slope thanks to this "cozy" cafe and sweets boutique, which will "rock your world" with "killer" specialty desserts and a line of "divine" chocolates from renowned confectioner Fritz Knipschildt, not to mention dessert wines and "real-deal" "hot cocoa"; it's a "great" after-dinnner drop-by with a "date"("if you're lucky"), but be forewarned that "the word is out" and the crowds are coming in.

Chocolate lover's paradise. I would not give it 24 for food though. It
is a solid 20.

Yummy! Everything is excellent, and they always include a sample of
a special chocolatey item. Long waits, though.

Far better than Cocoa Bar and other knockoffs in Park Slope, great
spot for cozying up with a date. Decor is warm and inviting, and the
sweets are out of this world. Chocolates are works of art, beautifully
presented.

It should be a mandatory stop for anyone in the slope.

Don't think anyone could ever be unhappy here. Wonderful desserts,
people and the decor looks like you are in a little jewelbox.
Couldn't be much better...

Unbelievable delicious fare. Lovely, cocoa toned atmosphere and
intimate seating. However, a bit too cozy, as the restaurant could
easily be double the size and still be filled solid on the weekends.
Went for my birthday and had the fresh mint ice-cream, warm brownie
sundae. The waiter informed me that the mint was recently harvested
from their backyard garden and the freshness of this ice cream was
unparalled.

place to go after dinner. Chocolate items from cake to truffles
are delish. Place is small and there can be a wait.
